I mean I have the regular Saturn and it’s a top tier pad. i’ve been looking at alternatives to the artisan zero because it’s out of stock currently and i’ve found two. The differences between the pads have been stated 1000 times, but to me the hien is the hallmark artisan pad whereas the zero is low risk and familiar.
I play apex on the artisan zero, feels speedy and smooth. I use to have a gigantus V2 and it's personally trash in my opinion. But personally, I hate it because it's the opposite I want in a mousepad. I personally would just rock it and get use to it. I've seen multiple posts saying that there's a new smoother surface on the Zero. It's not a mud pad but it's definitely on the slower side and a control pad. I don't know if I'm tripping but Im pretty sure it's different surface than thier previous zero and it's a tad faster. I had one zero before this and the surface is a bit rough but this new zero is silky smooth wtf. It is software designed by a B&W fine-art photographer, educator and highly praised expert on B&W photography, for other B&W fine-art photographers. Artisan just change thier logo and surface on zero. The panel is designed for both beginners and experienced professionals in B&W photography.

I personally think Zero is an upgrade to AC+ but I wouldnt use Corepads with the Zero. For example Corepads will have a higher static friction on the Zero compared to the Aqua Control+, but Arc1 will have a lower static friction on Zero than Aqua Control+.
